Hi. Welcome to our story maker page. Here we have been working in the computer lab to make stories and Wordles. We learn lots of things about how to build stories. We hope you enjoy reading our work. Remember we are just beginning.

Our Class 'Storybirds'

By now all students will have had a chance to start their story on Storybird. Please join us and have a go at home. We would love to see what the parents can come up with.

REMEMBER

When making your story please log into the class site so we can all share your stories. I have sent a revised password and log on that will get you into the classroom site. After logging in, just click save and 'classroom assignment Year 2M' to join the fun.

Wombat Stew Review Year 2m

What's it all about?

Your children may come home and ask you a question like 'Where does milk come from?"
Please do not give them the answer.
Rather help them to discover the answer. Ask questions like "Who should we ask for help?", or "Maybe we could Google/ Utube it?", "Maybe the library might have some answers?", or "Who do you think we could ask?"
You could suggest talking to Aunty, Grandad (might be a farmer), the Butcher (without bugging him for too long), a supermarket attendant....
It's all about children investigating for themselves with your help. If they want to draw pictures, print it out, bring a book to school, write it down or Blog it right here FANTASTIC!
